totally agree with upstairs.  Her life is not "disgraceful", she just want her own joice, if you have a husband who does not love you and have tens of mistress, you cannot do anything but dying young in that day and age.  All she did is to choose a different way to get some happyness with some power she has.  when a women think it is better to be a whore then a queen, it is disgraceful to that system, not herself.
