去年在Finch and Leslie 附近一块华商地盘,溜进一个很有派头新开的大饭馆进餐。点了个炒牛河,要了个清蒸鱼,来了碗据说是他们的招牌粥。结果炒牛河与清蒸鱼都被他们弄得漆红漆红的摆到我们面前。实在饿了,没得选择,只好硬着头皮吃。可是,还没一会儿功夫,大家都开始感觉难受了。交钱,起身,第一次,能干坏事迄今,第一次故意干坏事了。出了门,回头,十指合拢,双目紧闭,深深一鞠躬:“阿你脱发,这饭馆,明天,准倒!”请问师傅们,炒牛河,就算你会放些色料,那么,清蒸鱼也放红颜料上去,这是哪门子的中国美食啊?那碗招牌粥,不知撒了多少味精进去。这到底是为什么啊?!说轻点吧,你是不会煮中国餐。要说重了呢,你就是反华反人民,故意到国际上去破坏中华美食的形象,故意让人民吃些倒胃口的东西!或者,或者说,就是师傅们跟老板有仇,存心要让饭馆关门大吉。
If you want cheap food, you get bad quality, bad service. If chinese food is as expensive as japanese food, then we would have the same level of service and quality. You can't be cheap, and expect good stuff.
